Well,I haven't been on here in FOREVER!I haven't posted much of anything on here or YouTube in about a month.I'm finally getting on top of things because I found some inspiration and have a collaboration with the lovely Nicki Harvey (Nevyard on YouTube) coming up.
I finally got down to business today, the day before my husband and I go on a retreat to Denver with his platoon, and made/edited about a million videos...or that's what it felt like.I started at 9am and 8hrs later and 1 video left,I'm starting to feel accomplished.Boy this makeup thing is hard when you're battling allergies!!!I think I washed my face like 3 times today and finally after my last video my eyes gave the old heave-hoe and started watering and getting sore.So I'm giving them a break as much as possible tonight and up until I have to put makeup on to leave for Denver.
I got ONE video posted today.ONE!WTH!I need to either A)Get a more efficient editing program or B)Get someone else to edit my videos while I record.I think B is a good choice that way I only have to take off my makeup in between videos instead of stopping to take off makeup, edit, and then reapply and start recording again. It's a very long and daunting process.Maybe this is why I don't keep up with making videos all the time.
I think I'm going to record my collaboration videos WAAAAAAAAY in advance, that way all I have to do is edit and upload.Think I'm gonna start next week.lol! One per day.
BTW I can't wait to get to Dallas and possibly have my sister-in-law and mother-in-law as models for makeup.First investment is my makeup kit and an HD camera,so my videos are FAAAAAABULOUS!!
I've got my allergy ridden husband sleeping in the recliner,in the living room, and my main midget man sawing logs next to me on the bed.Hey,I gotta be comfy while editing videos and posting blogs.
Well,more to come later.BYESIES!
Oh..here are pictures of the makeup I did today:
Look 1: Little Winged Beastie
Look 2: Sweet Green Tea
Please, for all that is holy, ignore my hair.My straightener has been in the back of Jared's car since we came back from Texas.lol!
So that's all folks!More to come.Hopefully I'll be able to post a blog with lots of pictures of the retreat.
Peace,Love,and Rock'n'Roll!

Covergirl clean sensitive skin foundation review
So,I have discovered a new foundation and have been using it for about 2 weeks now. This foundation being the Covergirl Clean foundation for sensitive skin.I was going to do a first impression review of it,but decided that I'd rather try for a little while before I gave my honest opinion.
I wear the shade 210 or classic ivory because ivory looked a little too light for my skin tone.It comes in a 30ml or 1 fl oz bottle and is about $6 at Walmart, which for a drugstore brand is not a bad price (my last drugstore foundation was $10 for the same amount of product). It's a light to medium coverage and is definitely buildable which is great for girls with perfect skin or not so perfect skin.I would definitely still use a concealer with it,if you're like me and don't have perfect skin.It gives a somewhat dewy finish, which I don't particularly like.I do reccomend setting it with a translucent powder because the product does ten to slip easily, especially when applying blush or bronzer.
This line doesn't have a very large color range and seems to be geared more towards the fair-medium skinned girls.
Overall,I'm pretty impressed with it and would most likely purchase it again.A big plus for me was that it hasn't caused me to break out.I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive foundation. Two thumbs up!
Give it a try and let me know about your experience!!
